O cantor Jão anunciou, nesta terça (8), o seu quarto álbum de estúdio “SUPER”. O disco completa o conceito de quatro elementos revelado pelo artista, que assimila suas obras anteriores à terra (“Lobos”), ao ar (“Anti-Herói”) e à água (“Pirata”).
Em suas redes sociais, Jão compartilhou uma carta aberta endereçada aos fãs, esclarecendo um plano de carreira em curso desde o seu álbum de estreia. “Lobos, Anti-Herói e Pirata precisam de um fim, e SUPER, meu novo álbum, é um ponto final”, escreveu o cantor. “Eu disse tanto que queria incendiar. Finalmente, chegou a hora”.
Após turnê de sucesso em 2022, com direito a hit viral no TikTok (“Idiota”) e apresentação no RockInRio, o artista natural de Américo Brasiliense (SP) se consolidou no cenário da música brasileira ao arrecadar duas indicações ao Grammy Latino 2022. O marco inédito de sua carreira acompanha uma série de shows que reuniu mais de 250 mil pessoas, sendo o suficiente para lotar três vezes o Maracanã, maior estádio do país, e ainda sobrar.
O novo álbum será lançado nesta segunda, 14 de agosto, em todas as plataformas digitais, com 14 faixas inéditas. Apesar do sucesso nas paradas de seu último lançamento “Pilantra”, em parceria com Anitta, o single não compõe a tracklist. “Apesar de vivermos na era digital e dos streamings, eu vou pedir licença”, antecipa o cantor. “Esse é um álbum finalmente pensado para ser gritado ao vivo, nos maiores palcos do país. Juntos”.
Na véspera do lançamento, o Ginásio do Ibirapuera, na capital paulista, receberá 12 mil fãs para um evento de audição gratuita do novo material. Uma vez disponibilizados online, os ingressos esgotaram em dois minutos.
